Work-Life Ceremonies

Most people would readily recognize the importance of ceremonies in their personal lives, to mark births, marriages, deaths, and other life events.  But ceremony can be equally important in marking transitions at work. Rites of passage help people adjust to change and organizations go through many changes – some celebratory, some difficult.

A professional Celebrant can work with your managers and employees to create and officiate at ceremonies for your organization. The Celebrant will meet with them to develop a ceremony that is meaningful to the work environment.

Some of the many ceremony-worthy occasions that occur in today’s workplace include:

  • Launching new partnerships
  • Opening a new office
  • Launching a new business, product or service
  • Rewarding valued employees
  • Retirements
  • Promotions
  • Adjusting to reorganizations and mergers
  • Honoring employees who are laid off due to downsizing

Transitions at work are life transitions for all involved.  As a Life-Cycle Celebrant I work with you to create and deliver a unique and personalized ceremony.  I offer guidance, suggestions and advice to help ensure you have a ceremony that reflects your company, your community, its personality and aspirations.
